In the first quarter of 2010, Gamebasics has once again broadened its horizons with their successful OnlineFootballManager. With an increase of 90,000 players (+31%), OFM is now played on a daily basis by over 400,000 managers.

OFM in sixteen languages

OFM has seen more than just additional content developments lately: every day, progress is made in the area of translations as well. Last month, OFM was completely translated to Arabic. Together with Yahoo/Maktoob, the strong media partner from Jordan, this helped to facilitate further growth in the Middle-East. But the growth has been expansive, taking place in all countries. The goal remains to become the largest and most enjoyable football manager game of the world. Aside from continued growth in the existing “OFM” countries, new markets in Asia and Russia are being researched. “Before the end of this year, we will achieve the magical number of half a million players a day”, according to Frank Tijhuis, managing partner of Gamebasics.

OFM Mobile and iPhone.

Gamebasics is always on the move, closely following all the recent media developments. This is the reason why it was decided to also create an attractive mobile version of OFM half a year ago. In October this year, the first version of OFM for the iPhone will be produced.
